January update

Hello, here my update for January. Most books that I read this month are easy and quick to read. University has been kinda busy and I did not want to read anything that difficult while my brain was already stuffed with all that I need to learn. So here are the books I read this month and what I thought of them:

Cinder & Ella by Kelly Oram

I adored this book. It is a modern take on the story of Cinderella. Ella has been talking with her online friend Cinder for months. What she does not know is that Cinder is actually a really famous movie star. After a devastating accident Ella feels like Cinder is the only one that she can talk to.
This book is an easy and quick read. It is kinda similar to Geekerella, so if you enjoyed that book I think you will enjoy this one as well. I gave it 4 stars.

Happily Ever After by Kelly Oram

This is the sequel to Cinder & Ella. It was a cute book and I enjoyed reading it but I do not think it is necessary to read it after Cinder & Ella. If you read and enjoyed the first one you will also enjoy this one but it will not put much more into the story. I gave it 4 stars.

Perfect Chemistry By Simone Elkeles

Brittany and Alex are forced to work together by their chemistry teacher. When Alex makes a bet that he can seduce Brittany their lives start to collide. With her being from the good part of town and him being in a gang things get complicated. Again I enjoyed reading this book but the story had not that much to it. Character development was limited. So if you are looking for a quick and easy romance than this book is for you, if not and you want something with more to it I would not recommend this to you. I gave it 3 stars.

How to Break a Boy by Laurie Devore

I had a love/hate relationship with this book. I love the writing style but I hated the main character. The style kept me wanting to continue reading this book but the character and what she did made me want to stop. She is just so unlikable. So I feel like I would not recommend this book, however I loved the writing style so maybe I would love other books she has written and I definitely want to try those out sometime. In the end I still gave the book 3 stars because the writing style is great and it kept me continuing to read.
